The greatest difference between all the religions of the world, and a relationship with Jesus Christ is something called grace.In every other religion man has to prove himself to God. He has to earn his way to heaven. He has to ensure that his good deeds outweigh his bad deeds, so that karma will look kindly on him, or the judgment will go well for him. He has to earn God’s love and blessing.

It is only in a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God, that one finds grace. And what is grace? Grace is the free and unearned favor and blessing from God. Grace is getting blessings you do not deserve, forgiveness you do not deserve, a new life you do not deserve, a new start you do not deserve. And God offers this freely to anyone who would believe in Jesus Christ. God has said:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

But why? The answer is simple….love. God knows you are imperfect, He knows you can’t make yourself perfect, and so He sent His Son to live a perfect life and to take the punishment for all you’ve done, so that He could then offer you grace….blessings in abundance, more than you could ever imagine, that you did not earn. He did this so that you could have a way home, to Him.

And so God has said that if you would believe in Jesus Christ, that His perfect life and death on the cross paid the entire debt you owe to God for your sin, and that He rose from the dead to give you life, and if you ask Him to wash you clean of all you’ve done wrong, He will. You will be cleansed of all your sins and stand righteous before God. You will begin a real and true and close relationship with the One who made you, who loves you, and who has been seeking you even today.
